From Terraform to Kubernetes — I Design, Automate, and Secure the Cloud
Cloud Engineer | AWS Solutions & Infrastructure Automation
My passion for technology began at a young age, as the family's go-to problem solver. From fixing the television to optimising the home Wi-Fi, I was always drawn to understanding how things worked and how to improve them.
At the age of 18, fresh out of high school and with no formal IT experience, I entered a hands-on internship at Lorge Consulting Services. I configured servers, set up VoIP phones and personal computers, and resolved issues on Cisco routers, switches, and access points. That experience propelled me into network engineering, where I became fascinated by how mere light pulses and data packets shape the digital world.
Later, I discovered the cloud — a turning point in my career. The elegance of replacing rigid, on-premises infrastructure with elastic, on-demand systems captivated me. The ability to provision secure, scalable environments instantly to meet individual business needs was nothing short of monumental.
That spark evolved into a mission.
Today, I design and deploy resilient, secure, and orchestrated cloud infrastructure using tools such as AWS, Terraform, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines. In one memorable project, whilst working at SEIDOR Networks as a Cloud Engineer, I prevented a critical system failure for the client Butternut Box by leading a root cause investigation and executing a strategic SQL Server migration. Whether through hands-on home labs, real-world solution builds, or continuous learning via platforms such as Udemy and LinkedIn Learning, I remain committed to continuous improvement, driven by a lifelong passion for solving complex problems and building cloud systems that perform in production environments.
